These website terms do not replace a specific service quote, invoice, work authorization or other agreement provided for a particular locksmith job.
Mobile Locksmith Service
A.S.A.P Locksmith is a mobile locksmith business based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Service is provided at customer locations within the normal service area.
There is no public walk-in locksmith shop. Service availability depends on the location, current schedule, type of job, hardware or vehicle involved, and whether the requested work is within the services we perform.
Requesting Service
Submitting a form, sending an email, leaving a message or placing a phone call does not by itself guarantee that service is available or that a job has been accepted.
A service request may need additional information before we can determine availability, compatibility, travel distance, parts or equipment requirements, authorization, or pricing.
A job is considered scheduled or accepted only when A.S.A.P Locksmith confirms the service arrangement.
Availability and Arrival Times
A.S.A.P Locksmith is not a 24-hour locksmith service. Service is offered during the posted business hours shown on this website and on the Google Business Profile.
Estimated arrival times, when provided, are estimates only. Traffic, weather, travel distance, job duration, customer availability and other circumstances can affect arrival time.
We do not advertise or guarantee a specific response time.
Ownership and Authorization
Locksmith services can involve access to homes, vehicles, businesses and other secured property. Before performing security-related work, we may require identification and appropriate proof of ownership, tenancy, vehicle ownership, business authority or other authorization.
We may decline or stop work if authorization cannot be reasonably established or if the circumstances raise a legitimate safety, security or legal concern.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their authority to request the work.
Quotes and Pricing
Locksmith pricing can depend on the type of service, lock or key system, vehicle, door or hardware, location, parts required, condition of the existing equipment and the work necessary to complete the job.
A price discussed before arrival may be based on the information provided by the customer. If the actual conditions differ materially from that description, the appropriate service or price may also differ.
When the scope of work changes, the customer should be informed before additional work is performed whenever practical.
Customer-Supplied Products
Customers may sometimes ask A.S.A.P Locksmith to install, cut, program or work with a key, fob, lock, smart lock or other product purchased from another seller.
We cannot guarantee that a customer-supplied product is genuine, compatible, correctly specified, functional or suitable for the intended vehicle, door or lock system.
Additional work, replacement parts or a different product may be needed if the supplied item is incompatible or defective.
Existing Conditions
Some lock and key problems may be affected by conditions outside the locksmith work itself. Examples can include a weak vehicle battery, electrical or mechanical vehicle problems, damaged doors or frames, alignment issues, worn hardware, previous modifications or defective customer-supplied parts.
If the problem appears to require work outside the locksmith services we perform, we may recommend that the customer contact another qualified service provider.
A.S.A.P Locksmith does not represent that every access, door, ignition, electrical or hardware problem can be resolved through locksmith service.
